| My name is Sarah Jean. I am 24 years old and currently living in Palm Desert, California. Originally born and raised in Florida by my fathers, I have learned I have a secret talent and that talent is music. I moved to Nashville at the age of 18 to live all by myself and really get a feel for life with music as my guide. I learned SO much living there. You could find me on any given weekday out on broadway with a young guy named "Chris" singing and playing guitar for hours. I owe a lot to that road in dowtown Nashville... It made me realize what being free meant. And honestly even more than that, to be HUMBLE. I take no credit where credit isnt due. I have been professionally trained for only 3 years and have gratitude for Sherry Maclane for helping me develop. However.... I basically set this myspace up so that I could get feedback and feedback only. These are not my original songs. None written, co-written, played, or even recorded by ME. I sang these songs in an EXTREMELY small studio. With one take!! You dont get a second shot at singing these songs! lol So please pardon the dust if you see/hear any. I am NOT in ANY way a professional I do not make money singing I wish I did but the saying goes "A starving artist somehow ALWAYS winds up working for free!" ---SOOOO TRUE! :-)
I have been in several karaoke type contests and I have entered numerous T.V. and Radio Station Singing Competitions and I have placed in every single one of them BUT ONE! I have been named "Country Idol", "Brevards Country Idol", and scored perfect 7-7-7 scores on the Television Show "LUCKY BREAK" The purpose of this myspace for me personally, is not only to get out there in some small way but to also mark my journey as I prepare to embark on yet another music path. I will be jumping head first into the musical waters here shortly. So with that will come blood, sweat, tears, ups, downs, and drama (haters!) and it will all be available in my blogs section. I'm NOT asking you to become a fan. Im asking you to become a FRIEND. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for me and I dont care who likes it or not anymore.
