Myspace Layouts at Pimp-My-Profile.com / Forest Sunset George started his musical studies when he was nine years old. In the age of 12 he began his live performances with many bands. In two years time he started his own rock band (at the age of 14). He graduated from the music college of "Sadikov1" (5 years) with an "A" mark in the year of 1974. After three years he was accepted in the music institute of "Hamza Hakim Zade Niazi" from which he graduated after four years (1981) with "A" mark. in the year of 1985 he created his personal Fusion-Jazz Rock band "George Giatsidis band". The same year he took part with his band in the Jazz Festival of USSR and honored with the "best guitarist" award and the "best composition" award. George came to Greece in 1986. After one year he was accepted in the GTR (Greek Radio Television) orchestra, as the lead guitar player, through competition.Since that time George has worked as a session musicion (live performances and records) with the most of the famous Greek artists. In the year of 1985 he played in the latin band "Los Paraguaios" together with the legendary guitarist Julio Hara. In the year of 2000 he released his first solo album (George Giatsidis-"Captain Nemo") with greek lyrics featuring his seventeen years old nephew Chris Giatsidis as a singer and sound engineer. The same year he performed live in the concert of the famous tenor Jose Carreras at the Herodio of Attica.
