Instead, she realized society’s unrealistic standards of the “ideal” womanly shape and size were unhealthy and unattainable for the average female. Rather than surrender in shame by failing one crazy fad diet after another, McCarley turned the tables and launched a revolutionary new way of thinking about herself. I’m Good Enough for Me! is an inspirational invitation to accept and embrace yourself, regardless of your age, shape, or size, for being uniquely, wonderfully you. Changing your perspective of yourself, your self-worth, and your place in this world is the key to learning how to be good enough for yourself and even better for those you love.My name is McCarley and I am a stay at home mom to the most special 17 month old in the world! Like so many other young women I struggled with body image for most of my life. After I became a mother something inside of me changed. I vowed to do whatever I could to make a change in the way young girls value themselves in today's shallow, vain, and materialistic society. After much soul serching I decided to write a book about my experiences and how I learned to love myself and embrace the body that God blessed me with.
