About Me |
|
| Bred in the Mid-West, the Down-Beat Groves is comprised of Jeremy and Jesse Lafica. With a heavy influence of soul, blues, rock and improvisational jamming we seek out a new sound that will hopefully enlighten those in proximity of the sound. The Black Keys, Phish and certain blues musicians, such as Eric Clapton, Buddy Guy and Taj Mahal, have played a major role in our musical influences in our writing. Our most important goals are to resurrect the raw sound of blues that has shaped music and maintain a soulful, honest sound. What you hear is what we feel... | |
