About Me |
|
| Emma has performed and toured to packed houses all over England as soloist with the English Mozart Ensemble with whom she released a recording of Mozart. Whilst at the Royal Collage of Music she won a scholarship to study at the Aspen music festival and later continuing her studies with Thea King and Gervase de Peyer. Graduating from R.C.M, she went on to make a particular study of Mozart with Jack Brymer. In teaching she is currently Clarinet tutor at Chichester University and in the past Kingston University London. Pupils have achieved scholarships and become professional Clarinettists. In the last few years she has been exploring ‘The Jazz sound’, whilst still being essentially and expressively a Classical player. The departure to other styles was an important one in terms of learning new tone colours and techniques. She has always been fascinated by the possibilities and versatility of the Clarinet that is often compared to the human voice... What has been said in the press |
