VERIO(Saverio) COLELLA vive a Monopoli(Bari). A 9 anni inizia a studiare pianoforte e teoria musicale privatamente, successivamente in una scuola media a carattere musicale. Suonando pop,rock e blues con le prime band giovanili, scopre quasi per ’’necessità’’ la passione per il basso elettrico; per alcuni anni studia come autodidatta, in seguito segue diverse lezioni impartite da Pierluigi Balducci e approfondisce altri generi musicali dal funk al jazz. Tutt’ora frequenta un corso multistilistico professionale di basso elettrico presso l’Accademia "PercentoMusica" a Roma(studia con Pierpaolo Ranieri, Andrea Avena, Massimo Fedeli, Alessandro Patti, Frankie Carusi, Fabrizio Aiello); inoltre è allievo del maestro Michele Cellaro al Conservatorio "N.Rota" di Monopoli, dove studia contrabbasso. A parte qualche breve partecipazione con altri musicisti locali, da luglio 2000 collabora stabilmente con la formazione dei "Medicine Show", con cui ha composto e registrato diversi brani inediti; nell’ambito dello stesso progetto, partecipa a varie manifestazioni e concorsi locali e nazionali. VERIO(Saverio) COLELLA lives to Monopoli(south of Italy). To 9 years he begins to privately study piano and musical theory, subsequently in a character musical middle school. Playing pop,rock and blues with the first juvenile bands, he almost discovers for ’’ necessity ’’ the passion for the electric bass; for some years he studies as autodidactic, subsequently he follows different lessons imparted by Pierluigi Balducci and he deepens other musical styles from the funk to the jazz. Everything now frequents a course professional multistylistic of electric bass to the academy "PercentoMusica" in Rome(he studies with Pierpaolo Ranieri, Andrea Avena, Massimo Fedeli, Alessandro Patti, Frankie Carusi, Fabrizio Aiello); besides he is student of the maestro Michele Cellaro to the Conservatory "N.Rota" of Monopoli, where he studies doublebass. Apart some brief share with other local musicians, from July 2000 he firmly collaborates with the formation of the "Medicine Show", with which has composed and recorded different unpublished songs; within the same project, he participates in various demonstrations and local and national contests. verio_c@libero.it |
