THE BAND Opal'sEye is a new band project, spear headed by original member and predominant song writer and producer for Allyptic, Jared. He is joined by fellow original Allyptic band mate, Nick and Krystal Noxx, producer and song writer of StoneBlood and Noxx. Together, they fully intend to ascend that nigh unscalable and treacherous mountain, known as the Music Industry and leave their mark. Undaunted by the arduous task that lays before them, the member's of Opal'sEye intend to far surpass their previous musical endeavors and garner a larger fan base than previously achieved with Allyptic and Noxx. THE MEMBERS Krystal Noxx can remember writing songs as early as 6 years of age. Over the years, she has tried her hand at various musical instruments, including guitar, violin and piano. Of course, it was her vocal talents, to say nothing of her beauty, that persuaded Jared and Nick to ask her to join them in the creation of Opal'sEye. Much to their relief and satisfaction, Krystal agreed. Influences: NIN, Enigma, Crossfade, Tori Amos, Ozzy, Delerium. Jared has been drumming since junior high, but he was unaware that he had the ability to write songs until Allyptic. He managed to write the majority of the songs for Allyptic's 2007 release, Black Season and fully intends to out shine his work there with Opal'sEye. This new project will allow him to start fresh from ground zero and apply all he has learned in the past 4 years to create lasting, quality music to be enjoyed by the masses for years to come. Influences: Disturbed, Sevendust, Breaking Benjamin, Sepultura, Megadeth, Avenged Sevenfold. Nick, childhood friend of Jared, has had a keen interest in metal music since 1987, when his older brother brought home Motley Crue's Girls, Girls, Girls album. It was 8 years later when Nick picked up bass and has been playing ever since. He has been involved in myriad musical projects with Jared and is excited to find himself, once again by his friend's side. Influences: Metallica, Iron Maiden, Breaking Benjamin, Disturbed, Tool, Rammstein. They are currently writing brand new material. |
