Music:I appreciate music that I can relate to on both intellectual and emotional levels. I love the sound of real instruments, especially the drums. (I've always secretly wanted to be a drummer). I can appreciate all types of music from jazz to soul to hip hop to whatever as long as the music has something to say to me. I also love anything that inspires me to dance, but lately I've been a 90's junkie. Loving some Old School Aaliyah, D'Angelo, Blackstreet...you know the deal. |

Books:I don't get to read as much as I would like. I love anything by Eric Jerome Dickey. He helps me escape when I need to. Right now I'm reading the Art of War, a Nicholas Sparks book and The Purpose Driven Life. Sometimes I like to pull out a horoscope book when I meet someone new, just out of curiosity. I find it interesting when those dog gone things are right, but I definitely don't live by them. And of course, the Bible. |
