Die Pianistin Maria Nguyen-Nhu wurde in Witten geboren. Mit sechs Jahren bekam sie den ersten Klavierunterricht. Später besuchte sie das musische Gerhardinger-Gymnasium der Armen Schulschwestern und das musische Pestalozzi-Gymnasiums in München, wo sie das Abitur machte. Mit 18 Jahren war sie Preisträgerin des Karl-Lang-Klavierspielwettbewerbs. Sie studierte Klavier (klassisch) am Richard-Strauss-Konservatorium in München und machte folgende Abschlüsse an der Hochschule für Musik und Theater in München: Kammermusik, pädagogisches Diplom, künstlerisches Diplom. Danach studierte sie in der Meisterklasse Klavier an der Königlichen Musikhochschule Madrid und war zwei Jahre lang Stipendiatin des spanischen Ministeriums für Kultur und ausländische Angelegenheiten. Neben dem Hochschulstudium nahm sie an mehreren Meisterkursen von berühmten Pianisten wie Bela Siki, Andre Watts und Amadeus Webersinke teil. Nach weiteren drei Jahren künstlerischer und pädagogischer Arbeit in München ist sie nun zusätzlich im Aufbaustudiengang "Musikjournalismus im öffentlich-rechtlichen und privaten Rundfunk" an der Hochschule für Musik und Theater. Pianist Maria Nguyen-Nhu was born in Witten/Germany to vietnamese parents. At the age of six she started to take piano lessons. At the age of 18 she was laureate of the Karl-Lang-Piano-Competition in Munich. She studied the classical piano at the Richard-Strauss-Conservatory in Munich for five years and took her pedagogic diploma at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich. She completed her education with the soloist diploma. After that she continued her studies in Madrid at the Royal Music Conservatory Superior as a scholarship holder of the Spanish Ministry of Culture for two years. During her piano studies she participated in masterclasses with distinguished musicians like Béla Siki, Klaus Schilde and Andre Watts. After returning to Munich she has been working as a pianist and piano teacher for three years. In addition now she is studying multimedia music journalism at the University of Music and Performing Arts. |
