Un subtil mélange de Saveurs Latines, de Jazz, de Hip Hop et de Soul sur un lit de textes engagés pour des causes humanistes mêlant humour et sentiments… Tel est le secret de la recette Or 2 Koz. Née d’une rencontre entre l’envoûtante voix de la chanteuse O’bé Mbiandje, et du rappeur, guitariste et compositeur Mauricio Santana, le groupe Or 2 Koz a su évoluer et se magnifier au fils de 7 années de travail et de persévérance. Années durant lesquelles le groupe a su trouver sa formation idéale avec l’arrivée de Xavier Hamon aux percussions, de Yacine Mdarhri Alaoui à la basse et de Raphael Sebastien à la batterie. C’est ainsi que l’aventure Or 2 Koz s’est construite, se produisant dans divers lieux (Opus Café, Tryptique, Flèche d'Or, Abracadabar...), attirant un public aussi large que varié et aboutissant à la création de leur premier album en 2006 : Pangea, en référence à la Pangée, ce supercontinent rassemblant la quasi-totalité des terres émergées, symbolisant l'idéal d'un Métissage Universel. Or 2 Koz, un groupe engagé, se nourrissant d’influences artistiques et culturelles diverses : celle des membres de son groupe (Cameroun, Chili...), celle d’artistes de talents (Nat King Cole, Ella Fitzgerald, Stevie Wonder…), de rythmes Afro-Latino… Une musique vraie, reflet de cette multi-culturalité d’hier, d’aujourd’hui et de demain. |
