| November 2008The seasons of the year come and go and not every song I have written this year hast been linked to the seasons. Believe it or not it was in June when I had these chords D A/D Bm/D D A/D Bm/D D finding its way to my Yamaha C3. Nice harmonies, I thought nothing special, but good enough for a new song. The next day I added D Fm G D Bm A. These chords gave me an immediate Christmas feeling, what made me angry somehow, because it was never ever my intention to write a Christmas song. Not in June! I tried to get out with some other chords, composed a new melody, but I couldn..t get rid of this christmas theme, the structure and the melody had already settled. No way out. So I wrote this Christmas song. ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ ---------------------------28. May 2008 There would be a lot to talk about, but to give a brief description, I would say:I like unplugged singer / songwriter style playing the piano and singing. Songwriting for me always starts sitting at the piano, letting my emotions go. I find some chords, the voice starts to sing a melody and the lyrics just express the feeling of the music that has come to me. Yes that..s so easy ...........sometimes, in some cases..........., or by accident. ok, to be honest, one song out of five, makes me really happy. ------------------------------------------------------------ ----------------------------I..m currently working on new songs, so most of the tunes you can find here are unplugged demo versions, recorded at home only singing and playing the piano. Some will be used for the new album, others will have a short life here on Myspace for some weeks.Presently I..m recording my album “Piano based” in the studio (thanks to my producer and all the studio musicians, helping me to make all this happen). Piano based, yes I think this is true to its name. Even if it ends up with the complete arrangement, every song started piano based!You can find the first track of the album, (don..t know if this will be the title track) “Talk to Heaven” here on MYSPACE MUSIC.That..s all for now, hope you enjoy the music.
