| REWIRED IS OUT NOW ON CD OR DOWNLOAD! BUY YOUR COPY TODAY FROM: JUNO / HMV / VIRGIN / DJ DOWNLOAD / BEATPORT / .. Constantly at the cutting edge of dance music since the turn of the millennium, Hyper is a DJ in world-wide demand. From the Far East to Australia, across the breadth of the United States and throughout Europe, his sets are never less than perfect, blending blistering beats and ripping bass with a panache that is the envy of the dance world. His past as a compiler of the mix CD is unparalleled. Starting the lauded ‘Y3K’ series that set the pace in the leftfield, progressive spheres, Hyper upped the ante with a pair of superlative mixes under the ‘Bedrock Breaks’ banner before branching out into the endless possibilities of his last set, the high-tech masterpiece ‘Wired’, on his own Kilowatt imprint. His recent output has seen him forming a kick-ass rock ‘n’ roll band under the Hyper moniker, featuring erstwhile Prodigy member Leeroy, ex-Pitchshifter axe-spanker Jim Davies and The Light and PFNs main-man Ronnie. Their critically acclaimed ‘We Control’ album took them out of the clubs and onto the stages of festivals all over the globe, including Glastonbury, Glade, the Sziget Festival in Hungary and Coliseo Ciudad de Atarfe in Spain. His latest offering ‘Rewired’, released on 5th November through Kilowatt, goes back to his DJ roots, picking up where he left off, effortlessly looping and twisting some of the most on point sounds around into an hour long excursion through a highly charged selection of floor smashing cuts that have been the mainstay of his record bag on recent gigs. With new and exclusive tracks from ILS, Alex Metric, Rogue Element, and of course HYPER, this is a mix not to be missed! Buy the Hyper debut album 'We Control' from Amazon now! Or download from .. Buy the Hyper cover of Ant Music at Juno now! Buy the Hyper 'No Rockstars' from Juno or you can get the downloads from Beatport Last year was dominated by the release of HYPERS debut album WE CONTROL and the forming and touring of HYPER LIVE. Singles taken from that album included Twisted Emotion, Ant Music and We Control. This year HYPER returned to the studio with an agenda in mind – that of producing some killer club & dance floor gems, NO ROCKSTARS being the first to see the light if day! Engineered with Vandal and guitars ‘synths’ from Jim Davies, Hyper has delivered a club smash fusing punk rock, bass heavy beats and an electro hook suitable for the most innovative dance floors. DJs supporting this already include Adam Freeland, Digitalism ‘powerful stuff’ Blink Zouk KL ‘best record of 2007’and Eddie Temple Morris who says ‘another peak time bomb from Hyper’, Annie Nightingale Radio 1 ‘Hypers best tune yet’ Remix is care of Australians equivalent to D.Ramierez, Bass Clef. Taking the original killer electro hook and maxing it out amongst his own style of tuff, tight electro production, this mix will have them jumping from Hoxton – to – Sydney and back! |
