Born from the ashes of the 1998 founded Eon, a death-core band consisting of Maurizio, Stefano, Filippo, Samuele and Fabien W. M. Marangio, the band is playing actually post-core, if any definition fits on the band's unique style.After a release of a self-produced Demo-tape and several concerts, Fabien left the band in summer 2002 to join the Prog-Metal-Band Abstract. In that moment Eon decided to start up with a new project that features current bass-player Marco.That new line-up and the musical progress inside the band had a certain effect on the sound and also on the band's name, that changed to it's current: IncomingCerebralOverdrive.The purpose was to create a sound where noise and melody could be brought together harmonizing in an original way.The band began to compose new material and then to propound it during live dates. The new songs were appreciated by the share and local fanzines. Due to these little but significant successes in the summer of 2003 the band contacted Gabriele Ravaglia (Mr. Gabry) and entered the Fear Studios, Ravenna. After weeks of hard work and devotion the first promo cd was finished.The band's promotional activity for the finished work carried out with a high number of interviews and songs sent by radio in Italy, Europe till the States and reviews on italian and foreign fanzines and webzines, and also on national magazines like Rock Sound and Metal Hammer collecting on this one also the best demo of the month!The live activity, being one of the main activities of this project let IncomingCerebralOverdrive tour Italy from Abruzzo to Piemonte. In particular the most important concert is the one with Unsane (USA) in Rome at Alpheus club. Meanwhile, during the composition of the new songs that would have taken part to the new master, a new change of line up took to the arrive of Alessio as bassist.The recording sessions took place in the month of August of 2006 at the Fear Studio's too with Simone Mularoni, and the contacts with Carlo Bellotti allowed to the work to be mixed in the States at God City recordings Studio's in Salem (Massachussets) by Kurt Ballou (guitarist of CONVERGE) and to the mastered in New York at WestWestSide music Studio's by Alan Douches (Dillinger Escape Plan, Converge, Mastodon, Hatebreed, Everytime i die, Sepultura, Between the buried and me, Sick of it all, Saves the day, Burnt by the sun).
