About Me |
|
M.I.A. is an American band with its roots in the punk music scene of the 1980s. Originally from Las Vegas, the band relocated to Southern California where they helped define the "Orange County sound." M.I.A. released four albums in the 1980s, all now considered classics of the genre. They toured extensively, playing shows with other seminal bands of the period, including Dead Kennedys, Social Distortion, T.S.O.L., Circle Jerks, Dickies and others. Using the band’s classic material as a foundation, M.I.A. is writing and recording new songs and performing at a select number of shows. In 2008 MIA is: Nick Adams - Guitar (1980-85) Larry Pearson - Drums (1982-85) Chris Moon - Drums (1980-82, 1985-87) Todd Sampson - Vocals (1980) Bob Thomson - Bass www.miaband.com www.punkrockers.com/MIA www.myspace.com/miapunks _______________________________________________ _______________________________________________ Color |
