Having just graduated as a student of the pioneering producing program, Eric has been constantly working on his artistry in and out of school. Faculty, students, audience members, families and friends have all been amazed at both his songwriting talent, voice, and growth. Playing guitar and piano and being a solo artist for only four years, Eric has won Best Song of the Year for "Simply Human", impressed Entrepreneur and legendary Island Records House Producer/Engineer Steve Smith (Bob Marley, Paul McCartney, Pink Floyd, The Who, Toots and The Maytalls) enough to mentor him, and already signed a Filo & Peri (77 DJs in the world) remix of his song, "Anthem" to Paul Van Dyk's (1 DJ in the world) label, Vandit Records.
Currently, Eric is working on more collaborations with Filo & Peri, who are both incredible music makers and great friends (Peri is a fellow graduate from the Clive Davis Dept. at NYU), promoting his 'Simply Human EP' (which has just been released on .. ), and finding the perfect manager to assist in bringing his powerful music to the masses.
ARTIST STATEMENT
Eric creates music that embodies the reason why people play in the first place - as a natural expression, he cannot hold it in. He writes passionate, emotional music that touches the heart in an authentic, powerful and uncheesy way. His lyrics capture specific moments and broad ideals covering the many aspects of love and living life in the modern world.
