BUY THE EP AT INTERPUNK VIDEOS "Hanging Out In Chicago" WEB BANNERS This Painted Red This Painted Red Rock oh Yeah THE STORY This Painted Red formed by Jeff Rodriguez in Grand Rapids, Mi in November 2004. Soon after they released a cd titled "My Last Dying Wish". This Painted Red then set out to make a name for themselves. Combining their members different influences in to one 8 track CD they pushed there way onto the scene and gathered an on going fan base. After numerous shows in the Michigan area, they decided to set out and tour. In the summer of 2005 they independently self booked their own 40 day national tour. Taking them on a journey that covered half the United States, they showed the country their unique style and powerful stage performance. With passionate lyrics, intense drumming, innovative guitar and heart throbbing bass. Upon returning home to Michigan in July 2005, This Painted Red found their way back into the studio to record the release "The Floor It Fell From". The album mixeed influences from many genres to create a truly unique sound unlike the rest. The CD grabbed the attention of many more widespread fans which pushed for a 2nd national tour. In the summer of 2006 they embarked on another 3 month national tour. Following their return they signed to indie label "Runway Records". TPR decided to rerelease "The Floor It Fell From" EP, through Runway. After much touring and member changes This Painted Red decided to make a much needed move. A move that brought the band to Chicago, Il. Now based in Chicago the band is pushing forward to tour and are writing their new upcoming EP. To be released in 2008.
