Music:One Word: Guitar.Okay, okay, here's a few more then... #1 MUSICAL LOVE: Steve Vai! I just can't help it, I want to have that man's baby... don't get me started or I'll never shut up! Eric Sardinas Okay, so I don't want to have his baby (but I wouldn't mind, you know, *practicing*). His music? GREAT to dance to, and the inspiration for my first ever burlesque act (My Kind Of Woman, AKA the "Pink Act"). He said I was beautiful. *blush* *Billy Sheehan* I wish I could put little hearts around the name of THE nicest rock star in the history of the world, but stars will have to do (and really, aren't they just as appropriate?)! Billy is not only a "guitar god", he's charming, humble, and funny, too! If you are a fan of my Groupie Act, that's Billy's sexy voice singing the intro - "Misguided woman, knows my name..." Yeah. AND SPEAKING OF ROCK STARS... Here is a picture of my favorite "Rock Star Sandwich": Steve Vai, *me*, Eric Sardinas, and Billy Sheehan - Somebody pinch me! (No, REALLY... please, somebody pinch me!!!) I should also mention: Dream Theater . Joe Satriani . Toshi Iseda . Also Van Halen, old David Lee Roth, AC/DC (or Hell's Belles, even!), Stevie Ray Vaughan, Frank Zappa, Journey, Queen... I *especially* love anything and everything Glenn Miller ever did... ... ever, ever. I tell you, Glenn Miller could have pissed in a pot and made it sound like the most beautiful arrangement of tinkle tunes you ever heard! All-time favorites: St. Louis Blues March, In The Mood, and Moonlight Serenade. I also really dig the Old 97's, Minibar (Simon has the most beautiful voice I have ever heard, except for maybe Holly Figueroa and Luciano Pavarotti), Professor Longhair, Scott Joplin, Hank Thompsen, Hank Williams, Cab Calloway, Andrew Lloyd Weber, Sol Dog , New Orleans jazz - all of it!, Candy Kayne (@@!), John Williams, and the Soundtrack from Muppet Treasure Island (Shiver Me Timbers!). Chalker, Steven King's Dark Tower Series, Harry Potter, Artemis Fowl, The Call of the Wild, My Side of the Mountain, Lies And The Lying Liars Who Tell Them (Go, Al!), The Jungle by Upton Sinclair, and numerous books on spirituality and religion. br. I used to love Lit classes in school - I couldn't believe my good luck: they want me to read books and then talk about them? And for this, I receive CREDIT? Awesome. |
