Nous nous sommes rencontrés il y a un peu plus de deux ans par le biais de nos études. C'est après un boeuf (réussi !) que nous avons décidé de former un groupe. Trip Hot prend sa forme définitive en 2006 avec l'arrivée d'un guitariste/chanteur. Très vite, certains membres du groupe ont ramené leurs compos et nous possédons maintenant un set de douze compositions originales(4 morceaux chantés et 8 morceaux instrumentaux), (et quelques autres en cours d'affinage). Notre musique est essentiellement instrumentale, basée sur l'improvisation avec un réel souci de travail sur les timbres et les ambiances sonores. Nous avons tous les six des influences bien particulières ; vous trouverez donc dans notre musique... un peu de tout! We met two years ago by the way of our musical studies. After a really good jam, we decided to make a band. Quickly, some of us brought back their compositions, arranged and recomposed by the whole band. Our music is essentially instrumental, based on improvisation, and focused on music's energy, on sound's colour and atmosphere. We all have our own specific influences, from all the child of blues and world music to classical, experimental or contemporary music, the whole mixed and gathered by (on) the Rock.
