| My friends call me PICKLE. I got the name when I was young and was sprayed with pickle juice from a super soaker. I smelled like pickle for 3 days after that incident.
I currently have 2 jobs, although I have spent the majority of my life trying to avoid work. I currently work as an adjunct faculty member for DePaul University in the both the Education and Sociology departments where I teach "Multiculturalism in Education" and "Introduction to Sociology." I have also taught "White Studies & Eradicating White Racism" in the International Studies department at DePaul.I also work at Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine where I do research involving health disparities among kidney transplant recipients. In my spare time, I drink large quantities of mojitos at this place called Morseland in Rogers Park and afterparty at the Top Hat also on Morse Avenue. Social justice is my passion and I try to do as much as possible to fight inequality based on race, class, gender, sexuality, age, and disability, although like many people, I could do much more.
