In Zeiten überproduzierter Belanglosigkeiten setzt sich "Dani & Band" das Ziel guten Songs mit der nötigen Sensibilität und genügend Platz für Eigendefinitionen zu begegnen. Zu der souligen Stimme der Vocalistin Daniela Wirtenberger gesellt sich eine Triobesetzung die schon anhand der Instrumentierung (Gitarre, Bass, Percussion) dieses Bestreben erkennen lässt. Songs wie z.B. "King of Pain" von den Police können da schon im Cha cha feeling, "I don..t like mondays" von Bob Geldof als Ballade mit "Gänsehautfeeling" interpretiert werden. Kompositionen von marvin Gaye, Tom Waits, Sting, Norah Johnes, Tevie Wonder, Corinne Baley Rae, Bob Geldof.....stehen auf der Setlist.
