| Universal rockers es una formación que emprende el vuelo a finales de 2007 tomando como punto de partida el sonido del reggae roots. Varios músicos de la escena de Barcelona, unidos por el amor hacia ese estilo, empezaron a trabajar sobre temas originales de los años 70's elaborando un amplio repertorio. Éxitos de Dennis Brown, Delroy Wilson, The Gladiators, Cornell Campbell, Jacob Miller, Bob Marley & the Wailers entre otros, son interpretados en directo por la banda con máxima fidelidad a sus arreglos y a su sabor. Preparad los oídos para un revival homenaje a las grandes figuras jamaicanas, las grabaciones de las cuales nos han enamorado. Universal Rockers was born from the love that some musicians were feeling for Roots Reggae, and so they started to work on tunes pure 70's style, preparing a wide repertoire with songs from Dennis Brown, Delroy Wilson, Gladiators, Cornell Campell, Jacob Miller, Bob Marley and the Wailers, among others. Prepare your ears for a revival tribute to the great figures (more and less known), whose recordings we have fallen in love with. | |
