| Formerly Cancerous Core,D E C U B I T U S born in..93 as doom-thrash-core band.After various concerts which made ..em known in the local underground,and after some changes into the line-up,the guitar player Rene Hofmann and the bass player Denis Reinhardt decided to split-up the band,to generate a new one,expanding their style with a combination between melody and brutality.
They found a vocalist,Kai Pflugbeil,who seemed to be the right one for D E C U B I T U S and,with the help of a drum-machine,in April..94 they recorded the first demo "Life..s last embers".It was an interesting technical death metal release,which received lots of good reviews from everywhere.
In December..94 the band found a suitable drummer,Timo Haas,who gave to DECUBITUS a personal mark.In April..95 D E C U B I T U S recorded the second demo "Ultraterranium",7 tracks of creative and powerful death metal.
Finally a second guitarist,Holger Blauhut,joined the band,and with this line-up DECUBITUS signed a record-deal with Italian label SEVENART Music.
Between April and May..96 they recorded the debut album "Codex Sinaiticus"
which features 14 songs,total running time:47,36 minutes.
