| Hi I'm Laura, I'm a songwriter and I love writing country Music=) I was born in December, I'm 17 years old, and love cold winter days as long as the sun shines. I love holidays like Christmas and the 4th of July. Being close with my family and celebrating are a big deal to me. I love the color BLUE and it shows, because just about every piece of clothing I own is blue. I love my best friend Megan and my sister. They are the best friends any girl could have because they bring out the best in me. I love to play soccer for fun and have participated on a league in my community for 8 years. I like to meet new and interesting people, especially people involved in country music. I am a very honest person and truly enjoy true friendship. I can be the best friend you will ever have as long as your a true friend to me. I plan to go to college, possibly Depauw University in Greencastle Indiana to study music. That is who I am now. My BIG dream is to live in Nashville and write country music. I began writing music when I was 13 and spend every spare minute I have playing my 12 string guitar and writing songs. I think music is a way of life and I love to write songs about the good and bad experiences everybody has in real life. The first song I wrote was about my ex- boy friend. I really don't want a boyfriend, so if you went out with me, feel lucky!! HA HA Don't be scared of me. I might write a song about you. I guess I am just independent and don't need a guy to make me happy. But, if your a guy that loves country music, wear jeans and a T-shirt and a cowboy hat, I will definitely look twice at you. I look up to people that have accomplished their dream and admire people that have one. I believe having a dream is what makes life wonderful. I feel blessed to have been born in the USA where anyone can have a dream, go for it and reach it. I am not a complicated person and like to be around people who smart and talented, but love a simple life. That is why I love country music people. I also love all kinds of music. I think anyone who has composed a song is amazingly talented.
If you can relate to my music and it means something to you, I fell like I have already accomplished part of my dream.
