| I was born in the summer of 69, in London Town. My mother is Spanish and my father Pakistani. I attended Notre Dame High School and upon graduation embarked on a ten-year career in the media business in London. After flying high with a number of the City's leading and cutting-edge advertising, publishing, tv, music, pr and marketing agencies. I gave up the corporate world and ran away to the Greek Island of Lefkas, and there spent two years managing a small taverna and djing at the local bars.It was here I fell in love with a sailor and the sea, and ended up spending the next ten years working as a chef/first mate and stewardess on some pretty hot super-yachts. I have also cooked in various high-profile London restaurants(boy now that is hard work)long hours and bad pay. I have travelled to more than 250 luxury destinations and have lived and worked in the Ionian Islands (Greece), The British Virgin Islands, ths south of France, the Balearic Islands of Spain, and Malta. I am currently residing in South Florida, I have my own company Bridge The Gap International, which amongst other things orchestrates pr and marketing for the leisure and maritime industries. I am also a freelance photo-journalist and have published articles in the yachting and travel press, imparting my unique style to subjects such as cruising itineraries, food, career tips for yachting crew, investigative pieces, and other adventures. I speak Spanish, fairly good French and smatterings of Italian, Greek and Turkish. I am a member of the North American Travel Journalists Association, and a member of the International Travel Writers Alliance.
