About Me
Originally, I came in here looking for my kids......and it did work, they found me. Now, I must ask myself, why am I here? Do I really have an excuse, do I need an excuse?Sometimes in my space there seems to be some interesting happening, I can see this........ummmmmmmmmm.I am a teacher, have been for 22 years, that is what partly makes me so insane you see. Being a teacher has taught me many lessons about people. I love kids' movies like Narnia, Harry Potter, Star Wars, and I really hate people who know it all or want to put others down, or those people who work harder at trying to make others look bad than they do at their own job. I have no tolernance for mean people. And if you do make a mistake, say you are sorry and then move on.Time is hard to capture, in some ways the sunset is easier. Making some one's day brighter is worth much to me. It is my hope you are having a good life and making the lives of those around you better. My Interests
My interests are varied, I do not believe in being a one-dimensional person, I love art, outdoors, literature, music, good stories, intelliegence, and traveling.
I'd like to meet: I always thought Tom Cruise might be interesting, he runs in every movie. So he seems energetic, intense, and explosive - interesting to meet. I have met the President of the United States, does that make life better? No, but I remember the exact moment he touched my hand and turned back to smile at me - now that was priceless! I love to meet interesting people who are not so wrapped up in themselves, those who have the rare ability to see beyond themselves. This kind of vision is what makes a person exceptional!
Music: Music has always been important to me, gospel, rock-n-roll, great jazz, techno, C n W is coming along, and of course, anything my kids play, I love.
Movies: Definitely, movies which are moving, ones to make me think. Don't you just love waking up the next day still thinking about the intricate weave of the movie? I love the kind of movie that has a twist to it, where I am actually wrong about the outcome. This comes from too much Poe, Hitchcock, and Twilight Zone when I was young. I do not like horrors though, just great mind benders.

Books: I hate to say it, but I like to read for fun now, sometimes just plain sexy trashy novels will do it for me. Although, once in a great while a great mystery or biography, and an occasional children's book.
Heroes: Other teachers are my heros. We fight a battle everyday, and sometimes, we win. To me a hero is one who never gives up. A Hero is one who holds onto what is right and true and pure, this is a hero, one who is selfless to face the onset of the darkness at the cost of their own life.
