www.myspaceeditor.it“Volontà d’arte” (Prikosnovenie - 2007) is the fourth album of the guitarist-composer Riccardo Prencipe. The title (in english: “Art’s will”) is the translation of the German word ‘kunstwollen’, used by the historian of art Alois Riegl. It means that each place and time has its own ‘kunstwollen’ well defined. Lupercalia's experienced composer-guitarist, released two album as Lupercalia: "Soehrimnir" (World Serpent - 2000), with the violinist Pierangelo Fevola and the second one "Florilegium" (Equilibrium Music - 2004), with the soprano Claudia Florio. Then, he changed name into Corde Oblique by feeling the need of a collaboration with different voices and musicians. With this name he released “Respiri” (Ark records - 2005), excellently reviewed worldwide.Riccardo Prencipe: Composer. He plays all classic guitar lines; in this album he also plays the medieval lute. Riccardo took classical guitar degree at Naples’ conservatoire San Pietro a Majella. Since he was young, he felt soon the importance of composing music, lyrics and vocal lines, not only to execute classical music. Enriched by many live experiences in Italy and Netherlands (recently at Summer Darkness festival, together with bands like Moonspell and Bauhaus), he performed many concerts with ensembles as: QNTAL, Ataraxia, Kirlian Camera, and Spiritual Front. In this new album he increases the number of the guests, coming from ensembles of different kind. They give a precious touch to the whole production:Riccardo and his ‘equipe of sound artists’ offers us a new list of tracks that well assert themselves, thanks to the great variety of voices and styles which, at the same time, well melt togheter.a very special remark also deserves the simply mindblowing, excellent acoustic tribute cover-version of 'Kaiowas' from Sepultura's album "Chaos AD"!some places and clubs where the band performed: Summer Darkness Festival (Utrecht - Netherlands), Piazza Dante (Naples), Tivoli Club (Utrecht - NL), Sophia's Palace (Utrecht - NL), FNAC, Die Wunderkur Festival (Bologna), Rising South (Naples), Qube (Rome), Siddharta Club (Prato), Itri's medieval castle, Casaluce's medieval castle, Mutiny Club (Naples), Fairy night festival (Clisson - France), Caffé Concerto (Modena), Sudterranea Club (Naples), Galleria Toledo (Naples), Sonica (Rome), Liberamente (Rome).
