Henry and the Bleeders formed in the winter of 2004, initially playing a mixture of 1950's covers and Hardcore Punk songs. Over time, with better musicianship, gig experience and a better knowledge of music, along with the additions of a stand-up bass, a saxaphone and an acoustic guitar, the 2 styles merged with other influences, leaving the Bleeders with a form of music combining the raw and wild delinquency of vintage Rockabilly with the hard and modern edge of Punk Rock. Throw in some traditional R&B and a little Hillbilly and you get close the the Bleeders sound. Here's what Raucous Records have to say about us - You could call them 50s Psychobilly - this teenage 4-piece has a sound that mixes Vintage Rock 'n' Roll with 80s Psychobilly resulting in a sound very much for today. Henry & The Bleeders have a sound along the lines of HiFi & The Roadburners, or a less 'punky' Kings Of Nuthin'. A whole bunch of original songs here, along with wild covers of 'Cast Iron Arm' and 'Rock Around With Ollie Vee'. HENRY & THE BLEEDERS - THOSE TEENAGE BLEEDERS (Amba 1001) A stonking set of mad rockin' toons from one of the best young bands on the scene. Henry & the boys have written 10 of the 12 tracks, they're cutting up a storm everywhere they play, have already built up a huge following, and they're still ONLY TEENAGERS!!!!! All this talent....
