Get Myspace Layouts @ CodeMyLayout.com Easy if you dont know me by now MC Smoke im a 'Drum & Bass MC'. Ive been 'MC'Ing' since the age of 13 i started out in my bedroom listening to 'Speed Garage' where i developed a love for the music, i would sit in my room all day spittin lyrics which at this time i didnt know what i was doing to be spitting lyrics infact i had no idea what an 'MC' was or even wat it meant i just thought it sounded good. After developing my love for the music my lyrics started to have meaning and structure and after a while i learnt that lyrical content was key and that spitting about stuff that was real was a very good way to get things off my chest and develope my flow. After a while i moved on from 'Speed Garage' and started listenin to 'Jungle' which caught my attention very quickly, this is when i knew that i really wanted to do something with my 'MC'Ing' within the 'Jungle/Drum & Bass' scene. My first 'Jungle/Drum & Bass' mix tape was from 95 and was by 'Mickey Finn, Fearless and Shabba' i remember listening to them and thinking WOW!! I persued my love for 'Jungle/Drum & Bass' and by the age of 15 was given my 1st chance to 'MC' which was on an internet radio station 'www.ManicFM.com' i had already performed at the local events where i live and found nothing in it for me shortly after playing on 'Manic FM' i got to know alot of people and started getting other slots on other internet and pirate stations. Soon after radio i knew i needed to start hitting the clubs which were organised through myself and people i knew on various radio stations. I have performed with my favourite artist 'MC Eksman' and 'Nicky Blackmarket' on the decks which was at an 'MC' competition i entered, that was an experience i will never fail to remember. I have also appeared at 'Club Scala, SE1, Marinos, Batchwood Hall, Finbars, Liquid' and many others im yet to perform abroad but the furthest i have been to perform is the 'Isle of White' which i guess is off the main land lol, my biggest event to date was an event called 'USC' (Ultimate Street Car) in which i performed on the Friday night and the Saturday night on the main stages infront of more people than i can remember i was also the host for the 'Shake Ya Booty' competition which i thourougly enjoyed, you catch me on the main stages of USC August 2007. I have appeared on various stations such as, 'After-Shock Radio, BareBassFM, SweetsBeatz, Mystery FM, Vybe FM, Break FM and UK's Finest 87.5'. You can catch me on 'www.UKFlow.tv' Studio 2, Tuesday's 10.00 - 12.00am, 'UK's Finest 87.5FM', Wednesday's 12.00 - 1.00am alongside DJ Dracz & Uzy and you can also catch me on 'www.MANICFM.com' Studio 2, each and every Saturday 6.00 - 8.00pm. Before i go, thanks to 'DJ Dracz' who i have been partners with for 3 years now, 'DJ Deathstar, Motion, Jack Sprat and Krafty MC' for looking after me and helping me to mature, also holdtight 'DJ $nydee & Slaynee' for the hook up peace! .. |

Mcs such as Shabba, Fearless, Rhymes, Sp Mc, Riddla, Fun, GQ, Eksman and Herbzie. although i am an mc i also dj and love the tunes played and mixed by the biggest names in the scene. My favourite producers to date are Clipz, Die, TC, Modified Motion And Friction to name only a few. As far as Dj’s performing i like Andy C, Friction, Krust, Die, Modified Motion, Nicky BK, Mampi Swift again only to name a few. from all the above influences i believe i have found my own unique style as far as my style of mcing and my lyrics are concerned, i try to do my own thing and be as individual as i can. i like to have a wide range of lyrics such as double time lyrics, meaningful lyrics, slow broken down lyrics, hype party lyrics, sing along lyrics and the list goes on.
