Ein neuer Stern am Himmel der Bands, die sich nicht gern in eine Schublade stecken lassen. Unter der Screamo-Oberfläche brodelt mehr als nur die übliche Klischeevorstellung, denn EXPOSED TO NOISE verbinden die brachialen Elemente des Metal mit eingängigem Gesang der Meisterklasse. Tausendmal gehört? Aber NICHT in dieser Form. Denn der klare Gesang spielt hier die Hauptrolle und unterstreicht die äußerst raffinierte Musikalität, die die üblichen Bands des Genres an Erfindungsreichtum, Raffinesse und Komplexität mit Leichtigkeit übertrifft. EXPOSED TO NOISE stehen für eingängige Melodien und donnernde Gitarrenriffs, für kraftvollen, emotionalen Gesang, wütende Shouts und treibende Bassdrum Grooves, Ohrwurm garantiert! Die Besetzung (Stefan H: Gesang, Malte: Gitarre, Sebastian: Gitarre, Andreas: Bass, Stephan B: Drums, Gerard: Samples/Effects) in der sie zum Beispiel schon als Support von Bands wie Amorphis, Machinemade God, Narziss, Born from Pain, Deadlock, Negative und auf Festivals wie dem Burgrock 2003 und 2006 in Altena, Rock in den Ruinen in Dortmund oder in bekannten Clubs wie dem Backstage in München oder der Matrix in Bochum live abgefeiert wurden, besteht unverändert seit 2001. 2002 stellte man die erste Demo-CD fertig, drei Jahre später veröffentlichte die Band dann mit „A Reference to Desolation“ das Debütalbum bei STF-Records. Im Jahre 2008 wird der 2. Longplayer, der noch als Geheimtip gehandelten Band, das Licht der Welt erblicken. „Stories Of A Fragile Twilight“ entfaltet schon von der ersten Sekunde an eine Magie, die die Hörer einfängt und auf der knapp 40 minütigen musikalischen Reise nicht mehr loszulassen vermag. Neben den großartigen Melodien und der überragenden Stimme tragen auch die ausgefeilten Arrangements dazu bei ein hohes Langzeit-Sucht-Potential zu entwickeln.
