Throughout history, there has been an influential figure or figures that have made an impact on listeners, fellow artists, and the generation in which they reside. Unfortunatly, that aspect of the "artist" has been worn, whethered, and outcasted. We've done it all, so much to the point that everyone has a recycled flavor to there music, whether it be club jams, bling rap, gangsta shit, battle rap, love tracks, etc...I'm not saying Knotty Phabrix are the new one's but if we can influence the one to elevate and lead, than job done.Currently, Knotty Phabrix is wrapping up its debut album, Purgatory For Pedestrians, which is filled with hard hitting lyrics, radio friendly collaborative singles, and unique and beautiful instrumentals. Highly promoted by Cult Fam Entertainment and Underground Street Buzz, this project will be heavily pushed through various avenues, such as, itunes, cd baby, Myspace.com, Soundclick.com, Stomp Fashion Magazine, and volunteered street teams to reach their fan base and new listeners in multiple cities, states, and countries abroad.Knotty Phabrix has worked on projects with many artists such as Omillio Sparks, formally of Roc-a-fella Records, Gillie Da Kid of Major Figgas, Panama’s reggaeton sensations El Gato Volador and Family Business, and Florida’s rapper/R&B singer icon, Loose. KP has also worked with various up and coming artists such as R&B power house from New York, Nadia, Philly’s own Jane Doe, Mari, Jersey native Ms. Renegade, D.C.’s Abnormal, and New Orleans’ T.K. Choze Spoken and Brazen also have tag teamed to assist with the soundtrack of the film “Expendable” which is due to be released in March of 2008. Brazen also provided instrumentals for Stomp Fashion Magazines Model Showcase in January of 2007. All of this is a part of the goal to be a major contributor to music on many levels in today’s industry, in the forefront or behind the scenes.In closing, Knotty Phabrix is an entity prepared to make a major impact on music, film, fashion, and any other aspect of creativity they are able to have the opportunity to be a part of. After they release their debut album, their names will be known throughout the industry and independent factions of hip hop, R&B, and rap in an ever-growing internet age.
