| This is the myspace page of Duv - R&B/Soul singer, songwriter and poet dedicated to making quality music that he believes in. Since the age of 14 Duv had hoped to find other artists to make music with who shared the same vision of creating sounds without the negativity that consumes so much of music today. In 2002, this was found when he met Baba Israel and Yako 440 of Open Thought Productions. Duv's heartfelt lyrics and soulful vocals combined with the Hip Hop and Reggae influenced production and musical expertise of Open Thought paved the way for the birth of Duv's debut album, "Urban Artistik".In addition to recording and performing, Duv has and continues to take part in a performance workshop with Baba and Yako called "Sonic Boom: The Remix". The group has performed this workshop at various schools through out the tri-state area. The workshop is designed to inspire the youth by introducing them to the technology side of music. The children are shown what it is like to produce and record and get the opportunity to do it themselves.
