Visit the official website of Jonathan David: www.jonathan-david.net Welcome to the official site of Shadowrun. Formed in 1999, the band released only one album before the tribulations of daily life conflicted with the vision of the band's future. The members, Zealoucy and Zhahn Doe, shared the dream of storytelling through the medium of music, and while neither had any professional credits to boast of on their resumes, their collective efforts yielded an album fresh enough to make even the most cynical skeptics nod with approval. For a brief period in time, two people were able to overcome their creative differences to work together as a team, power onward like a machine and finally crumble like an empire. Today For Tomorrow debuted six months after the first chords were struck, and the band dissolved only a few weeks later. Striking out on his own, Jonathan David (Zealoucy) began a solo career, and in 2001, MOTHERLAND was released to the world. Strikingly different in sound and tempo, the two albums can never be compared to one another. However, like it's predecessor, MOTHERLAND is a concept album that tells a story without the aid of lyrics. Sound effects and sampled conversations became the mortar that built a record equal in ferocity and strength to the idea that was once Shadowrun. Jonathan David continues to pursue writing, though his conquest is now that of a literary nature. The musical keyboards have been replaced with a computer keypad, but the passion for storytelling is as strong as ever. His first novel was published in 2003 with two more to follow. Today, Jonathan is pursuing the big screen with adapted screenplays of his older ideas along with new themes and new thrillers sure to captivate his army of followers that continues to grow. This site contains samples of the band's music as well as links to the author's available titles.
