| Pepe Cruz nace en Baena (Córdoba) en 1984 comenzando sus estudios musicales de forma autodidacta a los 14 años como guitarrista eléctrico de blues y rock. Más tarde comienza sus estudios de guitarra clásica con el guitarrista Javier Quero, Manuel Morueta y Manuel Alonso de Arcos habiendo a su vez realizado cursos de perfeccionamiento con guitarristas clásicos como Leo Brouwer, Thibault Cauvin, Costas Cotsiolis, entre otros.Actualmente además de guitarra clásica estudia jazz bajo la dirección del guitarrista granadino Kiko Aguado habiendo asistido a cursos y seminarios con músicos de la talla de Pat Metheny, Jim Hall, Larry Carlton, Robben Ford, Angel Andrés Muñoz o Toño Contretas entre otros.Ha tocado con:Petint Trio (Con Inma Galiot y Antonio Jiménez 'Chino'). Jazztamos (Con Javier Quero, Manolo Ruiz y Pelagio Forcada) Pobas & Iponuba Swingers. Sarabanda (Sara Villafuerte) Entre otros. | |
