Generate your own contact table! Hartigans Sound, és un col•lectiu més dins la gran família de grups i sounds que pertanyen a la cultura musical d'arrel jamaicana a Catalunya. Neix a finals de febrer de 2006, a la localitat barcelonesa de Caldes de Montbui, i està integrat per components del desaparegut sound Dancing Mood Selectors. Sense el recolzament però, d’algunes persones que s’han unit a la causa, i gràcies a la col•laboració que ha sorgit entre tots en múltiples facetes, aquest projecte no podria tirar endavant. La intenció i objectiu principal dels Hartigans és promoure la cultura musical jamaicana, des de diferents vessants. Tot i que Hartigans és fonamentalment un sound system, sempre que està al nostre abast, intentem complementar l’acció purament musical amb diferents activitats com poden ser, concerts, documentals, xerrades, escrits...Així doncs, ens trobem on faci flaire a reggae.elshartigans@googlemail.com / hartigansound@hotmail.com |
