| Born 1997. Spent 2 years closed in a rehersal room, hence the name "Zu", which means closed in Germany. Played about 1000 gigs around the globe, from Europe to Asia , from Russia to North Africa. 14 releases between albums, eps and splits. Several labels as Atavistic, Red Note, Frenetic, Wide, Pulic Guilt, Fortissimo, Homeopathic, Wallace. 2 cds recorded by Steve Albini (Igneo) and Bob Weston (Radiale). Live or studio collaborations with the likes of Mike Patton, The Melvins, The Ex, Peter Brotzmann, Hamid Drake, Alvin Curran, Ken Vandermark, Mats Gustafsson, Nobukazu Takemura, Dalek, Amy Denio, Damo Suzuki, Eugene Chadbourne, Paal Nilssen-Love, Dj Olive, Han Bennink, Okapi, Fred Lonberg- Holm, Han Bennink, Joe Lally (Fugazi), Alfred 23 Harth, etc. Shared tours & stages with: The Melvins, Fantomas, Lightning Bolt, The Ex, The Ruins, Dalek, Nomeansno, Vandermark 5, Karate, etc. Running a sextet with Scandinavian legends The Thing. Founded Black Engine w/ Eraldo Bernocchi. Founded Ardecore ( folk roman murder ballads) w/ Geoff Farina of Karate and longtime friend Giampaolo Felici. Playing as part of Exploding Star Orchestra w/ Rob Mazurek ( Chicago Underground Duo, Tortoise). Playing live music for Vexilla, a new creation of Societas Raffaello Sanzio. Side projects: Luca played live with Karate, Nomeansno, Dalek. He runs a duo with Mats Gustafsson. he recently founded the trio Udus.
