The Guadapalooza is a Texas Music Festival that celebrates families and artists in Texas. The Texas Federation of Families for Children’s Mental Health originated from an organization established in 1988. Under a Federal Statewide Family Network grant, Texas Federation of Families is required to ensure participation of youth with mental health needs by ensuring an effective number of youth a families serve on state level policy, planning, and service delivery decision-making groups. In addition, Texas Federation of Families assisted with the tremendous influx of families relocating from the Hurricane Katrina Disaster.
