Cool, Sultry, Invigorating! How does the Rayne make you feel? Born in Long Island, New York, this Italian American singer/songwriter has always been a natural talent. In her scholastic years, she was known as “The Voice”, were she would sing the National Anthem at every high school event. This carried through college where Dana attended Hofstra University and recently graduated with a B.S. in Music Business. Currently, her passion, professionalism and powerful emotion on stage are earning her a place amongst music's elite. Dana Rayne's single "Object Of My Desire" (Incentive/Ministry of Sound) made a home on the UK charts, were it topped at 6 on the Top 40 Pop chart and 3 on the Top 40 UK Club Chart. Dana is also known as the new member of the multi platinum group La Bouche, singing all of La Bouche’s hits “Be My Lover” and “Sweet Dreams” just to name a few, with founding member Lane McCray. La Bouche has been traveling around the globe in recent times singing all of their world renowned songs. Ms. Rayne’s current project features collaborations with Jeannie Ortega, Lucas Prata, Dose of Fulanito and several other surprise guests. I guess I could start at the age of 5 where I worshiped Madonna and Michael Jackson. Who didn't? I still do. I grew up listening to Jazz, Pop, Rock, anywhere from Diane Schuur to No Doubt. I have to say though, that Celine Dion is who truly made me want to sing. I heard her voice and she gave me chills, which is why I wanted to be a singer and a performer. I love giving people the chills. The artists I listen to now have influenced me with my style in writing and singing. People like Mary J. Blige, Gwen Stefani, Kelly Clarkson, Daddy Yankee are all artists that I critique and look up to when it comes to the artist I want to be and who I have become.
