STORY SYNPOSIS
9 out of 10 interventions are successful... ...This is the 1.

George’s friends have gathered for an intervention… George’s intervention. You see, George is a zombie. And his friends are hoping to convince him to stop eating people and to enter 'zombie rehab'. It’s morally wrong to eat people. Plus, it’s unhealthy. The meat is raw. And who knows where these people have been.
With the help of a professional interventionist, George’s friends confront George regarding his 'addiction'. But, over the course of the night, George’s friends begin to disappear. Have they given up hope that the intervention will be successful? Or have they become dinner?

*The following is an excerpt from FANGORIA writer Sean Decker's visit to the set.
Fango recently made a whirlwind visit to the set of director JT Seaton’s currently shooting zombie flick GEORGE’S INTERVENTION. Filming in a private residence in Hollywood just off Sunset Boulevard, the crew immediately spots this writer entering the grounds—and the police, who are only steps behind.
“Hey, Fango’s here!” exclaims a PA during a camera move. “So’s the LAPD,” this reporter replies, glancing at the two cops flanking him. “He’s got an entourage!” laughs Seaton, who then confers with the officers, assuring them that all permits are in place and the production is on the up-and-up. It seems a certain neighbor has mistakenly “smelled money” at the sight of the film crew, and has since been harassing the production with misplaced calls to LA’s finest. Little do they know, this is a low-budget shoot and, quite simply, a labor of love.
Undaunted, Fango sits in for the filming of a particularly bloody scene in which the title character (Carlos Larkin) seems to be less than accepting of his friend’s concern for his well-being—and rather unconcerned with proper table etiquette, as well.

*The following is an excerpt from FANGORIA.COM.
What to do with a fairly serene zombie who becomes a discipline case? You could shoot ’em in the face…but what if they’re a loved one or relative? Writer/director JT Seaton’s upcoming feature GEORGE’S INTERVENTION offers a look at the pros and cons of trying to sensitively cope with living among the living dead.
GEORGE’S INTERVENTION, now filming in LA, is a claustrophobic feature that aims to take audiences on a nasty adventure of caring and sharing, as the undead George is confronted by those closest to him about his decidedly unhealthy lifestyle. The premise sounds like that of a wild short flick, but GEORGE’S INTERVENTION is actually a feature-length project. Fans will tickled to see genre vet Lynn (I DRINK YOUR BLOOD) Lowry playing George’s inexperienced interventionist, with Peter (THE LAIR) Stickles co-starring as his best friend Ben, who “decides that an intervention is needed, and [rallies] everyone to think this is the best thing for George,” the actor tells Fango. Played by Carlos Larkin, the title character is actually a relaxed ghoul who enjoys video games and terrycloth robes. “He’s kind of a puppy dog—scrappy,” says Seaton.

*The following is an excerpt from an interview with Michelle Tomlinson by Nic Brown on the website B MOVIE MAN.
NIC - I understand that you have a new project that you’re getting ready to start on is that true?
MICHELLE - True! It’s what I call a Horr-omedy. A Horror/Comedy called "George’s Intervention". I’ve been dying to work with JT Seaton since I read one of his other scripts "Inner Demons". Long story condensed to Reader’s Digest, he contacted me to audition for one of the leads in George’s Intervention. He and his Business/Writing Partner, Brad C. Hodson, wrote George’s in the style of Arrested Development, Shaun of the Dead and Death At a Funeral. A lot of the comedy is smartly written under the text and fed by fabulous circumstances. There’s plenty of gore to please the hardcore horror fans, of course! The tease is that George’s friends have gathered for an intervention for George. The twist is that George is a zombie who’s addicted to eating people. Gnarley, right? Who knows where those people have been? It’s really not a healthy way to live. Mayhem ensues from there! It’s going to be a fun ride and is filled with extremely talented people I’m excited to work with: Lynn Lowry, Carlos Larkin, Peter Stickles, Shannon Neil, Eric Dean, Vince Cusimano, Adam Fox, Brian Nolan and Matthew Herrick.
