| Hi, welcome to OUTPUT PRODUCTION ... this is the production company of Record Producer / Composer Ian Wallman. Put simply what i do is produce records for bands, remix, mix, write music, location recording, produce DJ mixes, make jingles for radio / podcasts / TV, post-production for TV & film, and finally consultation work for record companies... any pretty much any thing 'audio' A bit of background about me: After 5 years at Art College I moved into Radio Production at BBC Radio to feed my passion for music and studio 'nerdy-ness', this led to a producer / presenter job with CHOICE FM specializing in all types of Dance music. During the four years there I started a Dance Production group 'B15 Project' with musician producer Angus Campbell, which after many, many years hard work we achieved a number 7 in the UK charts with the track "Girls Like Us", we did Top Of The Pops (RIP), got nominated for an Ivor novello Award, did tour support for UB40, recording sessions in Jamaica and Live gigs across europe, a record deal with Relentless Records and a publishing deal with EMI. After this crazy period I focused on widening my production skills and set about recording and producing as many bands and artist as humanly possible, from rock, punk, gospel, classical , jazz, r&b .. you name it ... i have probably recorded it! During this time I signed to Tommy Boy Records in New York with a band called Cantankerous, which defies labels but Electro Ragga Rock comes close! We did lots of touring in Europe and USA... which was interesting! Also for the last few years I have been working under the name ZONED OUT with Jim 'Shaft' Ryan from Miss Moneypenny's producing Dance tracks with our own artists and doing many remixes! This leads me to where I am now. My company OUTPUT PRODUCTION is based around a small production studio in the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham, I do a very wide range of jobs from writing music for opening ceremonies to consultation work for major lables like Columbia Records (Calvin Harris) to Remixing and Mixing.
