| Thanasis KLEOPAS was born in 1965 in Greece. He is a self-taught guitarist who started playing at the age of 15.
Soon after graduating from the Engineering Polytechnic School of Athens, he started traveling with his backpack and guitar through out Asia, meeting and playing with a lot of international musicians.
Two years later he was back to Europe, lived and played in France for a while, and then settled down in Greece. There, he brought together a band called NAMASTE which was consisting mainly, beside himself, of violinist Kostas LOLOS and guitarist-singer Ionas CHRISTOFILOPOULOS.
In 2005, they met their manager Christos KOKKINIDIS who is today organizing the GLOBAL BEAT festivals, which are going to take place through May and June in 8 different towns of Greece. The main members of NAMASTE will play under the name INNOCENT DEMONS, together with drummer Kostas ANASTIASADIS, bass player Joel SOTO from Cuba, conga player CHRISTOBAL from Cuba, and jembe player Tosin OYEDELE from Nigeria. Most of the pieces to be performed are Kleopas'compositions.
