| NEP-tune has been into music all of his life. His real passion for music began back in 1992 when he attended grade school at Saint Michael’s Choir School by learning the basics of music whether it was through playing the guitar, piano, or singing. He soon found his niche with the constantly evolving industry. He always dreamt of becoming a commercial DJ all of his life until he finally got his taste of the nightlife by becoming a promoter for K2 Entertainment and Rice Café. He was also the assistant manager for Hacienda Lounge (formerly known as Tequila Lounge). This allowed him to explore DJing and emceeing which soon became a real interest. Currently, he is enrolled at Harris Institute for the Arts studying music production and sound engineering. His ultimate goal is to take one form of music and change it into something nobody has ever plugged into, which is where his love of DJing comes into the picture. Once he was finally able to invest in his own equipment, he hasn’t looked back.
“…I always wanted to control and manipulate the newest and oldest music out there and share my twist on things with everyone… After all, I was always the one with the CD’s at every jam and everyone liked my taste whether old or new…” While growing up, his musical influences were music from the 60’s Rock n’ Roll and Motown, 70’s Disco, 80’s and 90’s R&B/Hip Hop/Dance/House eras. As the newest addition to F2D RADIO roster, everyone can look forward to his contribution and creative concepts that he brings to the show.
