********************** ROOTS DANZ CASTELLO09---FREE DOWNLOAD!!! ********************** Sankara Recording Studio is a project studio situated in Rome, Prenestino / Collatino area, operative since May 2008. Thought and built in every part by two roots reggae eagers, has been originated not with commercial goals but with the idea to become a place to route ideas, emotions, dreams and hopes through the powerful media of conscious music, a music in which the message assumes a primary role. The Sankara Studio proposes to create a horizontal distribution network of its own productions, that may find in the roots-reggae sound systems a natural vehicle of diffusion, for reggae sound system is one of the most free and spontaneous media to manifest the human necessity to communicate, exorcise negativity and spread the idea that another social model is always possible. The technical startup of the Studio is based on a mix of traditional techniques and vintage gears, that interface with a modern DAW oriented registration system. The Studio is dedicated to Thomas Sankara's memory, young anti-imperialist revolutionary that in the 80s fought for auto determination of its own country (Burkina Faso) and for all Africa. An example of conscience and social commitment for all the corrupted political class of our time. Sankara Recording Studio è un project studio che si trova a Roma, nel quartiere Prenestino/Collatino, attivo dal Maggio 2008. Pensato e realizzato in ogni sua parte da due amici appassionati del roots reggae, nasce non con finalità commerciali ma con l'idea di diventare un luogo dove convogliare idee, emozioni, sogni e speranze attraverso il mezzo potente della conscious music, una musica in cui il messaggio assume un ruolo primario. Il Sankara Studio si propone di creare una rete di distribuzione orizzontale e indipendente delle proprie produzioni, che trovano nei roots-reggae sound systems un veicolo naturale di diffusione e uno dei mezzi più liberi e spontanei per manifestare l'umana necessità di comunicare, esorcizzare le negatività e diffondere l'idea che un altro modello di società è sempre possibile. L'impostazione tecnica dello studio si basa su un mix di tecniche e outboard vintage, che si interfacciano ad un sistema di registrazione moderno DAW oriented. Lo studio è dedicato alla memoria di Thomas Sankara, giovane rivoluzionario anti-imperialista che negli anni '80 lottò per l'autodeterminazione della propria patria (Burkina Faso) e dell'Africa tutta. Un esempio di coscienza e impegno sociale per tutta la classe politica corrotta dei nostri tempi. |
