Howdy all! My name is Elvis Aaron Presley! I want to tell you all tidbits about me, my interests, things about the people who came and went, share some things that I learned from my studies of philosophy as well as what I learned from my countless spiritual readings to help you y'all to lead a better life and ultimately make the world a better place to live in! People may say that I live the American Dream coming from humble beginnings of being a poor little boy born in a share croppers shack in Tupulo Mississipi who later lived in the housing projects of Memphis who drove a truck for a local company to help make the ends meet for my family and I. Life soon took a wild turn for me after I recorded a song for my dear mother Gladys at Sam Phillip's Sun Studios! Basically over night I became a Rock and Roll sensation that my fans gave me the so called title "King Of Rock And Roll"! They couldn't be more wrong about the dream part because sometimes the life of being a rock and roll sensation can be a nightmare because I lost my ability to go out in public alone and I couldn't live life as a normal person anymore! Don't get me wrong though my life still had its high points like the love of my wonderful mother Gladys and the rest of my relatives, meeting the love of my life, the lovely Priscilla, the beautiful baby girl that our love produced Lisa Marie, and last but not least for all the fun times that I have here at Graceland with my pallies and buddies The Memphis Mafia! I would like to talk with all of you but unfortunately that will not be possible because there is only so much time in the day and I also have other personal engagements to take care of. take time sit back to read and enjoy my page! | My interests include music, singing and performing, acting, horseback riding, riding motorcycles, karate, target shooting, racket ball, collecting firearms and badges, playing football, general rough-housing, having all kinds of fun, and spending time with my friends and family at my beautiful home Graceland! Movies:My favorite movies include some of my better pictures such as Love Me Tender, Loving You, King Creole, Jail House Rock, Blue Hawaii, Viva Las Vegas, and Speed Way! I also liked Heart Break Hotel, Honeymoon In Vegas, 3,000 Miles To Graceland, Finding Graceland, and Wild At Heart! |

Books:The book Me and a Guy Named Elvis is one of my favorite books besides the bible and books on philosophy and spiritual guidance. It was written by one of my dearest friends Jerry Schilling. It is a factual account of our friendship that started one Sunday at Guthrie Park in Memphis one lazy summer Sunday in 1954 during a game of pickup football. I was 17 when I first met Jerry shortly after recording "That's All Right" at Sun Studios. At that time Jerry was only a young lad of 12 years. The friendship with Jerry stood the test of time though the good and the bad patches as well! Jerry was a member of the Memphis Mafia and he did many jobs for me over the years including body guard, photo double, and trainer. He even drove Priscilla and I to the hospital on the day our daughter Lisa Marie was born! |
