| Die Musiker von Tibetréa spielen „Fantasy-Folk“. Neben der Interpretation traditioneller mittelalterlicher und folkloristischer Stücke, die von Pagan Folk bis hin zu traditioneller östlicher Folklore reichen, entstehen auf der Basis mittelalterlicher Melodien und Rhythmen eigene Texte und Stücke.Der weiche Klang der Trompete vermischt sich dabei mit Schalmeien, Drehleier, keltischer Harfe oder Bouzouki, genauso wie mit modernen Instrumenten, wie beispielsweise der Gitarre, während Trommel und Tambourin den mitreißenden Rhythmus vorgeben. Und wenn man seinen Körper andächtig lauschend zum zweistimmigen Gesang von Elisabeth von den Schafen und Mirán, dem Poeten hin und her wiegt, so kann man schon im nächsten Augenblick seine Beine nicht mehr im Zaum halten, wenn mit dem Rhythmus des „Circle Fire Dance“ der Funke der Feuermagie auf einen übergesprungen ist. Bepackt mit einem ganzen Berg von Instrumenten, von denen sie bravourös auch mehrere gleichzeitig zu spielen vermögen, ziehen die Spielleute von Tibetréa durch die Landen und erfreuen das Volk mit ihrem unverwechselbaren Klang.
