this is the hello, kate!! indie rock, discopunk, house, alt folk, idm and jazz are the same: from dust to dust, and a drink for wet lips. we love fashion people. and good music. and friends. and work hard to do the best every day. some runway to play? we (oblivous) luuuv kate moss (specially), kate nash, kate winslet, kate beckinsale, kate bush, kate bosworth, katie hudson and kath hepburn that was born in 1907 (rss...). some others kate to remember? well, maybe kate jackson and Ev's kate austin, from lost tv serie. the band still aren't currently on an extensive world tour. we prefered small clubs and friend's home yet. some months agor we started a really nice series of shows in big clubs and theaters! but now, it's time to movin' on. and thinkin' move to london. or tahiti? some suggests? peace and Be Blessed. .. "think about new music, that is fresh and funnny. music you dance and dream to. It sounds different to what you've been listening to before. pretentious, maybe, but you can't deny that there are some good and visceral tunes here. the influences, disco, eighties and indie rock are quite clear. but you can also identify actual club music with house and techno insights, with a punky feeling. all this mix, which easily could be an overdose of cliches, results in unusual and delighfull pop songs. and yes, some lyrics may be foolish. there's love and happiness, but also a little bit of irony in the guitars, grooved bass' and percussion. all band members sing in english, but sometimes you may even hear some portuguese, french and swiss. this band hello, kate!! comes from an improbable place in an unusual south american country. if sao paulo is the biggest metropole in brazil, this citys also known for it's millions of inhabitants with great culture that comes from a mix of conflicting influences and a lot of clubbing. take for an example the members of this band. formed by japanese, french and portuguese.
