I am a Revolutionary Communist.
Although I grew up near Plains, Ga I am far from being a liberal democrat or a republican. I went through a period of time in which I did work with the Democratic Party and the revisionist CP-USA. It was partially through that experience that I came to realize that trying to effect change through electoral politics was a dead end street. The other major factor was reading and struggling over "Immortal Contributions" by Bob Avakian in a chat room. I had first picked it up in order to be able to argue against his points online, but in the process I got my ass kicked and the correct line won out over the incorrect line. That's enough of the past. Its time to stop being history and start making it! |
