| My name is Mary.
I'm a second or 3rd generation native Southern Californian... which is awesome. I tend to love beauty in nature.... a lot. I am who I am depending on my mood, which blows.. and rules! I love to look at shiny, pink, colorful, and/or sparkly things. Tarina Tarantino jewelry brings me so much joy. I have empathy and compassion for animals. If you are someone who abuses animals, please don't bother adding me because I'll have to put some old world Italian mojo on you that your balls die. YES! The evil eye. No messing with that, I'll tell you. I have a boyfriend named Mitch. He's omniscient! Ok, not really... but he's really, really rad. My female soulmates are Stace and Jen. I love them like sisters and my life would blow without them. We laugh. A LOT. Not the little giggle laugh but the kind where you can't breathe and you're right about to piss yourself... and you just might anyway. They are special, special and I love them. I'm desparately in love with music as I am with the beach. I should have been a musician, marine biologist or surfer. Who knew? Oh, I'm slow at picking up on things. I absolutely love a good photo. I am learning how to use my Canon Digital Rebel XTI to take good photos. If I'm great at it, I will upgrade to a professional camera and photograph many, many things. I have a long way to go, but it's fun. I've been a dog lover all of my life, then as an act of sympathy for Mitch who wanted a pet, I got 3 cats and I am mad, mad, mad about them. So, now I'm just an animal person rather than just a dog person. I love dusk aka The Golden Hour. For about one hour a day, it's all perfect. So far "300" is my favorite movie of the year. I don't understand how "Bubba Nosferatu and the Curse of the She-Vampires" can be made without Bruce Campbell, I really don't. I want to see "Across the Universe", "Rob Zombie's Halloween", "30 Days of Night" and The upcoming "Day of the Dead" remake even though it will probably blow.
