ShaZe has played the piano in competitions at the University of Florida and has earned ratings such as excellent and superior. ShaZe began disk jockeying in the early 2000's, under the alias D.J. ShaZe, in the city of Gainesville, Florida, at various clubs and college events. While dee jaying, ShaZe experimented in primitive methods of recording using a keyboard and computer with a pair of decks. With a sudden move to Atlanta, Ga, ShaZe quickly built up a home studio, and phazed out of the d.j. scene. During the transition from d.j. to songwriter, ShaZe learned the basics of recording, and was trained on how to record using Pro Tools and various software. Now in the third year of production, ShaZe has delivered a wide variety of styles that are seen in his various musical pieces.
