Hi folks. My name is Jay Alan Tholen Jr. I was born in Florida on February 25, 1987. I currently reside in Homeland, a tiny patch of glorious unincorperated Polk County. Nothing but a Citgo, post office, and meat market. On sundays you'll find me hanging with my other Dad about 30 miles down the road at New Testament Church in Brandon. Weekdays are spent working at Wilkerson Instruments, a company in nearby Lakeland. Assembly work is satisfying, aside from the occasional solder fume overdose. I release most of my music for free. Boasting Psychedelic and World Music influences, Tholen weaves together a patchwork that is likely to attract fans of Danielson, Soul Junk, and mewithoutYou. The most compelling track is the epic, seven minute "A Lesson in Trust."
