Sometimes intentionally and other times non intentional. For example: Jimi Hendrix, Curtis Mayfield, Bob Marley, Eddie Kendrix, Chuck Berry, Robert Johnson and many others. As of now, I'd like to sound like the artist i'm giving tribute to. Below is a white CD cover, that features; Stan Skibby on lead vocals and lead and rythm guitars. Recorded in the studio and also live on stage in Poland with Leszek Cichonski, Polands great blues/rock guitarist and Anika, Polands great vocalist. It was released in 2001 and it's entitled; "Thanks Jimi". Leszek and Skibby collaborated with (Crazy Horse).
